Why is iPhone 6 plus overheating after housing replacement?

Hello, i replaced housing to my iphone 6 plus becouse it was very damaged, after moving all the components to new housing and turning it on it gets very hot and then turns off, i investigated little bit and seems that that component between screen connectors and simtray.

When does the iPhone get hot? Also did you put the right screws in the right holes? Because long screw damage can do some weird stuff. Is all the flex cables properly seated in the connectors?

Well, that’s where you got the SoC or CPU if you prefer. Overheating and shutdown point to a short in the processor, nothing you can take care of from a DIY prospective and being a very troublesome repair even for a Pro it’s probably not even worth a repair attempt due to a very unfavorable risk/reward ratio. I’d just think it’s time for a new phone in this case.
