How do I get AUX input out of the body of the car?
The AUX input has been knocked inside the body on the inside of the car. Does anyone know how I can get it out?
Is this a good question?

This YouTube video shows how to take the center dash off for the Volkswagen Beetle 1998-2010.

Hi Joshua, thanks for this. I'm not sure I'll be able to get to where the AUX cable is via the area where the centre dash is though
Ryan,
You are going to need to remove the center dash just to put the AUX port back in. Once you have the dash off, you can look and see where the port has fallen. This will provide you with more room to work with rather than trying to go in from the bottom.
It maybe cracked so the part is not secured or the socket maybe broken. The test I had offered to you would give you a clue which way things are likely to go.
If you can wiggle the plug side to side the socket is not mounted to the panel.
If you don't feel the detent (comparing to another device) then the socket has failed.
Dash is usually easy to get off .has screws or clips holding it in place. Check u tube for your car model and then replace jack and glue bk into place.

Hi Dan, the AUX input used to be where that black hole is now. The input was pushed inside and I'm not sure how to get it out
