Repaired iPod Touch screen not locking in.

I just spent the day taking apart a friends iPod Touch, now I'm on to putting the fresh new screen back on...and I run into this problem.

The screen doesn't seem to be locking in place. It seems when you're pushing it, that something's blocking it from locking into place, but there's nothing blocking it. What do you suspect the problem to be?

This particular digitizer needed to be pushed pretty hard to get it to clip in, and that's all I did to fix this problem.

Did you break off any of the clips from the plastic midframe? They could be stuck, preventing it from closing. It's also possible that the lcd is not completely aligned (try holding the digitizer slightly away from the ipod and seat the LCD in the digitizer, then close the ipod by pressing the metal back to the digitizer).

It turns out I just wasn't pushing it hard enough. Pushing it harder could have been potentially worse, but it worked out this time. Thanks for your time!
