Arbaman, thanks for the quick reply. I have been trying to determine if the screen and lcd under the screen are one unit and I need to replace both. I see mention in the site that there is an adhesive available but could not find a source for this. Therefore I am assuming a screen and lcd replacement. Is this correct?

The replacement screen is an assembly of the Lcd/touch and the frame that adapts it to the iphone. It's cold glue pressed at the factory and it's not worth attempting to fix it with glue. On top of that if you have dust in between the Lcd and top glass that would need removing glass and put it back in place with a special OCA glue that can be handled successfully only in lab controlled conditions.
