Phone won't ring, only vibrate. Broken ringer?

My HTC Wildfire won't ring or make other sounds like beeps, it only vibrates. However, all sounds can be heard through the earphones. Is this something I would be able to repair myself? I can get parts for the phone, but don't know if the procedure would be too difficult.

JUST REMOVE THE HEADPHONES LiKE 7 OR 8 TiMES AND PROBLEM FiXED!!! iHAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND NW THE SOUNDS WORK JUST FiNE!!
