iPhone 8 plus touch screen not working properly

Hi, I have this Iphone 8 plus that is having some problems with the touch screen

It doesn´t happen all the time.. Sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes it doesn´t

What would the problem be? Would it be a software o hardware problem?

The first thing I would do if this came to me would be trying another known good screen.

Options

The screen is not calibrated. Without Apple’s calibration machine, you can only keep swapping screens until you find a matching one.
