How to resolve grinding noise in using ADF for EPSON L565?

Hi, our EPSON L565 makes this loud grinding or clicking noise when I’m using the ADF to scan or photocopy. This is usually the sound it makes when it’s has a paper jam in the ADF. But this time, even if it’s only one document it still makes that noise and the output is dragged. And it’s very often, I can’t use it now. Is someone having the same issue and how did you resolve it? Hopefully I can troubleshoot it at the office, because it’s really a hassle bringing it to a service center. Thanks a lot !
