Can't browse the internet after changing to a new battery

Hi.

Got my new battery for my old MacBook Pro. Changing the battery was not a problem at all. I restarted the computer all was well.

But Google Chrome has a “?” mark on it and even though I do have Internet access via WiFi, I couldn’t get connection using either Chrome or Safari.

I needed to recalibrate the clock and date, but even after I did it, I couldn’t get Chrome or any other browser to work.

Help is needed here, please!

Answer this question I have this problem too

First did you follow this guide to the letter? MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Mid 2012 Battery Replacement If not what else did you do?

I’m suspecting your PRAM settings got messed up as you didn’t turn off the system before pulling the battery connection.

Lets give this ia try Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac

If that fails you’ll need to go to your network settings Preferences > Network

Delete the current WiFi entry and create a fresh one. You’ll need your to know your AP’s network name and its WPA password.
