Be Smart, Power off the Phone open it disconnect the battery and star cleaning inside, (If you can do it). If not find a place that can do this Process, now is working but in a few days or a few months you will see issues and remember that Electronics Board are from metals and copper/gold/tin + electricity + water = oxidation. Good Luck!

Hello! Welcome to iFixit! The iPhone XR is water resistant, and Apple actually says that you can wash the iPhone off in water if you spill something on it or it gets very dirty. However, water resistant phones are not entirely water proof, and water can still get inside of them if you wash them off in high pressure water. This usually happens if water gets blasted directly into the bottom charging port or speaker grills. Your iPhone should still be fine because it appears as if the water is only under the front glass of the screen, which is very common in cases like this. To try to salvage the iPhone without replacing any internal parts or opening it up, turn the iPhone completely off and opening up the SIM card slot and taking out the SIM card and tray. Place the iPhone in an open air environment where air can freely circulate on its own. Do not apply heat to the iPhone as this is often a last resort and could damage internal components. You can place the iPhone in front of a fan if you have one. Allow the iPhone to dry out for about one to two weeks. Again, the longer you wait the better chance you will have of your device still working. You could also try to use a vacuum cleaner and suck out some of the water from the iPhone. To do this, place your hand over the open SIM card slot and create a tight seal around it. Then, you can place a vacuum hose or attachment on the open side of your hand. You can also try to suck out water from the charging port and speakers using the same method. Repeat this as many times as you would like. Each day you leave the iPhone to dry out, you should notice some slight improvements with the splotches on the screen. You can briefly turn the iPhone on and then back off to check this. Do not try to use rice or silica packets to remove moisture from your iPhone. They are not as effective as letting it air dry. These are all things to try before opening up the iPhone to assess and diagnose the problem further. If these methods do not work after some time, then leave a comment down below and I can assist you further. Have a wonderful rest of your week and happy fixing!
