The maximum amount of RAM for this machine (M8980LL/A) is two Gigs. The RAM does not have to be installed in pairs. It has two RAM slots which hold 200Pin DDR SODIMMs (PC2700). A one GIG module costs about $52.20 from iFixit. It uses a Ultra ATA 100 drive. The older Powerbook G4 Titanium models (w/o DVI) may only register 128GB of space without the use of additional commercial software. Therefor I would not go over a 120 GIG drive. iFixit has a 40 GIG ATA drive for $47.45. iFixit has instruction videos for both the hard drive installation and the RAM installation.

You came to the right place. Glad we could help.
