How to replace home button?

I need to replace the home button but it looks like you have to pull the glass from the mid frame in order to do so. How do i replace it?

Well how do you remove the digitizer without damaging it? Ive removed many before but never a perfectly fine one so never had to worry about damaging it

You need a heat gun or a hairdryer. First remove the LCD screen by unscrewing the screws on the side of the assembly. Then remove the black tape on the inside of the digitizer that connects the glass to the mid-frame. Then with your heat source. work your way around the digitizer on the black part and gently remove the glass working each section at a time.
