Can’t hear on incoming calls

Volume to low when all the way up. Can’t hardly hear the other person on the other line

I have the same problem and have to use a Bluetooth speaker. The problem is that it causes an echo for the other caller

It is probably the earpiece speaker that is going bad. Make sure the front facing camera and the proximity sensor are working. If they are both in working condition, I would replace the earpiece speaker first. If the camera or proximity sensor is not working, it is most likely the cable that contacts the earpiece speaker. First thing I always do is just run a brush on the speaker grill at the top of the screen.

It might take a bit of time but it saves opening up the phone to clean out the grills. The key is to have finer bristles (smaller is better for cleaning).
