How to replace trackpad GLASS?

Well, I got angry and smacked my MB470LLA MacBook Pro. I know, not the smartest thing, but my trackpad glass is now broken and I want to fix it before I sell the computer. I've found lots of guides for replacing the trackpad, but I don't want/need to do that. The mouse functions perfectly - the glass is just cracked. It's mainly an aesthetic issue...one that if you're selling the computer can cost you a couple hundred bucks. Anyway, can anyone direct me on what part I need (can't find a code for just the glass) and a how-to for replacing the glass only? Model number is MB470LL/A, 2.4 GHz.

you will not find a part number just for the glass, you will need to rpelace the entire trackpad which is part number 922-9008.

Follow these steps to get to the Mid wall

MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Late 2008 and Early 2009 Mid Wall Replacement

once it's removed you should have access to the trackpad screws. You can see the screws before removing hte midwall but removing it should make it easier to get the ribbon cable out.
