Black screen after boot.
Booting up it shows logo and pinwheel. Then screen goes black. It's running you can see the volume when you push the buttons no backlight.

I would check your ram first try 1 stick at a time in a different slot each time also disconnect the airport and the dvd drive but it may also be your video inverter cable try disconnecting everything except 1 ram and run it external monitor. see if it still happens then troubleshoot which piece of hardware is causing your problem.
