Can't hear when making calls.

I replaced battery. now I can't hear anything when making calls. The person I call can hear me.

This is most likely a Flex Cable #3 issue. Try a Reset, hold both Home and Power Buttons for about 15 seconds, let iPhone turn off itself and then it will restart. See it this helped. The next step would be to carefully open iPhone and reseat Flex Cable #3. When you do this, look to see if there is any damage to the Connector #3 on the Logic Board. Close up iPhone and see if it works. If not the next step would be to replace the Flex Cable #3. Try these steps before considering replacing the earpiece speaker itself, which had no involvement in the battery repair. (Check the light sensor function and proximity sensor function, if these are out it would confirm #3 problem and not earpiece speaker)
