Sys starts to boot everything appears to be normal OS disks (and i have all OS from OS 8 onward) mind you HD new & Optical dvd Appear to start then ?? ALSO extremely hot where PS input enguages. Will also assist in PC consult Lic & Cert however not too proud to acquire assis with THIS POWER BOOK Thanks!

Start up from your installation disk. Go to Disk Utilities and format the drive. Now install a system. Download updates and install.
