Why my iPhone Battery drains so fast?

Hallo Guys

I need your help

Some time ago and while charging the iPhone, the charger exploded and the iPhone stopped working.

I've taken the device to repair, where the the Dock Connector was replaced.

The device returned to work, but with two problems:

First: The battery drains quickly

Second: GPD signal is weak

After I've seen your site, I've changed the battery but this did'nt help.Then I've changed the Dock Connector again and this did'nt help also.

I still suffer from these problems

What is the solution please?

troubleshooting this is like a needle in a haystack. something is draining the battery. maybe it's the antenna/grounding prongs on the antenna not in contact with the metal frame of the phone. maybe it's the battery not being good quality/half dead from being sat on the shelf. blown fuses, dirty contacts.

How fast the battery drains may give you a clue..if it is a drain over a few hours or while using phone/internet then it's likely antenna or a bad battery.

if the drain is quick then it's fuses (the small parts near connector 4 or just above the battery)or a bad ic on the motherboard...then you are truly looking for a needle.

I would try a new battery from a different source and see if there is a difference.

Thank you for the hints. My battery drains while using phone and internet. The weak signal of GPS is a big probelm without solution till now.
