I have macbook air 820-3209 (Mid2012-A1466) that work with charger with no green or orange light and, work with battery but it can't charge it (FYI the icon on the barre indicate that the battery is charging but in realty the battery not charging )

Mac seems to have a charging circuit issue and there’s no out of the box solution for that. If you’re sure the battery is in good working order, all that’s left are I/O board you may try to replace yourself and if that fails, to repair or replace the logic board.

First be sure to use a known working Apple Magsafe charger not a chinese fake. Also as stipulate by arbaman the I/O board could be bad. You can power up the computer with battery disconnected and check the battery socket pins with a multimeter. I think you should get DC 12 volts on the power pins and 3.4 volts on the data pins. If you get good readings the battery is probably dead.

befor the my battery come empty the mac work with it normly but when the battery becomes empty the mac can't charge it.. I will change the and check the pins.......thnx
