TV shows grey screen with cable but not with CHROMECAST But with sound

Idk whats going on. I have changed the HDMI cord and the cable cord and nothing. I can hear what the cable is playing but no picture, just a grey screen. But as soon as i connect the chromecast and change the channel to “strm box” on my home theater system (pioneer), the picture shows and you can hear whats playing.
