Can I download a recovery program for this Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5934 or can I run recovery without a disc? The laptop was given to me but the person no longer has the original disc. I know I will lose everything but I need to wipe it clean as this is what the former owner desires.

Hello Marc, I am including a link to a set of recovery disk for your series computer. You could also contact Toshiba and they would probably sell you a restore disk at a reasonable cost. The disc is worth having as every now and then you may need to restore Windows--certainly before you sell or give it away.
