iPhone 7 draws 0 amps and is in a boot loop

So my iPhone 7 is not turning on anymore. It draws 0 amps when i connect the charger and when I press the Power Button its just sutck in a Boot Loop (it shows the Apple Logo, gets a little bit brighter and then turns off and repeat this behavior).

I tested a known-good battery - same result thoguh.

I am suspecting something board-level but I dont know if it is related to the Tristar-IC or Audio IC (because a symptom of a bad Audio IC is boot loop if I’m not mistaken).

Can anybody help me identifying the problem?

Audio IC gives a pretty long boot loop, it takes a while for it to turn off and on again when stuck on apple logo.

Tristar can cause quick boot looping though a lot of boot loops can be fixed by updating / restoring the phone.

I had the phone sitting on my desk for over 4 hours and it did not stop boot looping. The phone also is not recognized by iTunes. The time from the start of the Boot loop until it starts again is maybe 10-15 seconds.

It's tristar then if it doesn't get recognised in recovery mode.

Oh really? Well thanks a lot for your help!

Yeah, if the computer does not detect the phone tristar is what I would suspect as that handles USB communication + charging between the phone and the charging port.

Alright, thank you so much! I will report back once its been replaced.
