Battery capacity decreasing after swap

Hi, everyone,

so I bought a replacement battery here and i switched and everything was ok for a few hours, then, after calibrating, reseting nvram and the smc, coconut battery is giving me weird reading.

Just when I installed the battery, the design capacity was at 100% as it should be, but after only 2 cycles in, and all the calibration and reseting, coconut battery is telling me the battery’s design capacity is at 89%.

Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing something? what’s going on? again this is a fresh batty from fixit and I did calibrate it twice, that’s the 2 charge cycles the battery has right now. I can always try again but this seems weird and I don’t know if its normal and it’ll stabilize later or if this battery is defective. Ill attach some screenshots from coconut battery.

Yep! You have a bad battery, contact the seller for a replacement.

I’d give it a chance and calibrate it again before going though all the work of replacing it again. Let it drain down to 10% then fully charge it again and see what reading you get.
