New iPad 6th gen won’t turn on after hard reset

Brand new iPad 6th gen, day after set up I forgot the passcode and tried a hard reset while linked to iTunes. Now, when I try to turn it on I get an apple logo then screen turns black and is sort of backlit black. Any answers peeps??

Update: tried 3utools fully expecting to be returning the iPad within the next 24 hours, but the software worked to drag the iPad out of recovery mode, back to being locked out for forgetting the passcode & also having disowned it from my iCloud account out of spite

Something might have gone wrong during restore, try restoring once more with iTunes and if it doesn’t work try also with 3Utools.

Thank You arbaman!!

This partially worked, I was able to come out of the black screen and out of recovery mode but I still can’t remember the passcode and I deleted the iPad from my iCloud settings on my iPhone

The problem is that the computer is no good for restoring the iPad. As it appears to fail to start the restore.

I would recommend either taking it to apple to get it restored or use another computer if possible.

@benjamen50 It may well be..I, for instance, have always troubles to restore in DFU with a Mb Air, both with 3Utools and iTunes...heaven only knows why..error 2012, unable to kick it out from Dfu mode into restore, no problem with restore mode. Same setup on the Pros, no issue.
