Unknown part after power button replacement

Hi Guys,

I have to push my power button really hard to get an effect. So i've followed your guide to replace the power button.

After replacing and assembling i came across this little black elastic part. I have no idea where this little part is placed. I've taken a picture for you to identify the part which i mean. The width of this part is round about 8 mm.

That part is the front screen ribbon cable cushion protector. It fits on top left edge of logic board under the ribbon cables as they bend over the logic board.

Thx a lot! It fits perfect there.

After many attempts without success my power button also works great now. I solved it with a little thin piece of plastic which i placed between the button and the stainless power button. Maybe not the best solution but it works.

Thx Brad!
