I'm wondering the extent to which parts can be swapped between these 4 models. I'm particularly interested in swapping screens, full displays, front bezels, screws, hard drives, and the dvd drives.
I appreciate any info.

That doesn't seem to show whether the whole display would be interchangeable. I was going to buy a damaged a1261 tomorrow hoping I could put the whole display (screen, bezel, everything) on my a1229. I'm wondering if it will fit.
Display is interchangeable.
I pulled the LED back-lit screen from a A1261 and installed it in my A1229.....
