Touch IC Reballed 2 times, cumulus overheating

Hello, as the title says, i reballed the ic (meson) two times: the first time the device worked for a while, and after the first shutdown, suddenly it stopped working (no image, not detected by itunes). I noticed immediately that cumulus ic was getting very hot on phone boot. So I reballed the touch ic for the 2nd time hoping that there was something wrong with its balls (a bridge). Unfortunately, the result is the same : cumulus is getting very hot and there’s no image at all, should I try to reball it? Maybe I applied too much heat on it and I created a bridge between its balls.

Thank you :)

In situations like this, you have to do a bit more probing before powering up the device again. Meson and Cumulus have nothing to do with the actual image so that is your first clue. An overheating Cumulus is another clue. So in this case, once you removed Meson, you should have checked the touch and LCD related power rails for short circuits because the touch and LCD circuit are powered by the same same IC (Chestnut).
