Annoying static noise on realtek integrated audio

This has been an ongoing issue. The problem got temorarily fixed when It automatically installed an nvidia sound driver along with my video card, however after rebooting the problem promptly returned. Here’s whats going on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbOHncQs...

Before any of you ask, Yes I’ve tried reinstalling the driver, Yes, I’ve tried disabling the realtek driver and it refused to use the nvidia one.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

When does this sound happen? Right after you power on your computer? Is it still there if you mute the sound with software? Does it ramp up according to your volume control? Does any other sound play, or is it only always noise?

by

Going to record and upload a video. It starts shortly after booting into windows then goes away when it starts shutting down. I am going to set the speakers to full volume in the video so you can hear it.

Did something change for this to start happening? Software install/update? Does any other sound play other than noise?

Hi @connor2003

good day

please list down your pc components, e.g. using laptop or desktop.....

if using desktop please list down the parts...

e.g. power supply, etc

sometimes this issues, can be due to some issues,

e.g.

OS issues,

Power supply not clean

soundcard issues

mainboard issues

grounding issues

try running for a long run with a linux live cd, and play some music for an extended time... are there any distortion?

Hi Connor

Suggest you to update bios and test run in a "live linux environment"

How is that supposed to fix my sound issues? For security reasons, I am not going to do that.

by

I end up buying a dedicated or external sound card to avoid the static noise issues.
