Fixing a Magic Mouse with leaked battery

I have two Magic Mouse that have gone the way of the buffalo because the batteries have leaked. I’m pretty sure the rest of the components are good to go, but I’d love to see someone post a tutorial on how to fix this issue.

Note: I’ve already done the white vinegar on a Q-tip trick to remove crusty battery acid, but alas my battery acid problem wasn’t resolved.

Did you review the Magic Mouse Teardown while its not a proper repair manual it will give you enough information to open up the Magic Mouse.

Once you’ve opened it up inspect the electrical pathways from the battery chamber looking for a bad solder joint or more hidden corrosion. Post some pics of anything that looks out of place Adding images to an existing question
