SIMRAN, just checked the service manual and it says "A supervisor password (SVP) protects the system information stored in the BIOS Setup Utility. The user must enter the SVP in order to get access to the BIOS Setup Utility and change the system configuration. Attention: If the SVP has been forgotten and cannot be made available to the servicer, there is no service procedure to reset the password. The system board must be replaced for a scheduled fee." The manual is " available here, " There are a few sites that previously looked through, that deal with the eeprom that stores the info. You might want to try to build this reader. There are some "instructions here" and some more "on here" Nothing to lose at this time...;-)Good Luck

SIMRAN, check the links. Other than to try to build the eeprom reader the only other way is to replace the board.

srry i have dismantel it fully their is a little spillage on the board . after cleaned with petrol. it become fully un-usable . means now fully dead....

by

SIMRAN, what do you use to clean your boards with? I have cleaned plenty of boards with the direction of the above link and have not had any board becoming non-functional. What happened to your board that makes you say it is fully dead?

I think he said he used gasoline.

I have read a article on IBM ThinkPad Laptop password reset:

Firstly, ThinkPad password reset with password reset disk

Secondly, unlock ThinkPad Windows XP password with Windows Installation Disc

Thirdly, reset ThinkPad administrator password by accounts with administrative rights

I don't think that this would work since SIMRAN can not access any part of the computer. That type of password protection disables everything until the password is entered. So he can not get to windows or any other part of the computer, like the BIOS, until the password is typed.

by

yes i cannot enter in the bios also nor in the windows or any booting device...
