Is an A1502 early 2015 logic board compatible with an A1502 mid 2014?

I have an A1502 mid 2014 MacBook Pro 13inch Retina display.

I am interested in replacing my logic board with an upgraded one, which is from an A1502 early 2015 MacBook Pro.

Will that be compatible?

There is some inconsistencies between the 2013, 2014, and 2015 models with regards to logic board compatibility.

Find your serial number and put it into the parts checker on powerbookmedic to be sure.

I was in a similar boat and had to double and triple check which logic boards were compatible before I bought one.

Powerbookmedic will give you specific parts numbers which you can search on ebay and elsewhere for replacements.
