Is it possible to swap a mid 2014 15 in. macbook pro with an integrated graphics logic board with a dual graphics logic board if you were also to swap the heatsink?

Yes, topcase and screen connectors are compatible, the only difference that comes to mind is the heatsink you already thought about yourself.
