Dropped my ipad. Screen not chipped or cracked but remains black.

Sound is on when charger is connected, and/or receiving emails, messages etc. Tried rebooting with Power On/Off button + Home button… nothing is happening. Do I need to change the screen?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

There's a slim chance LCD connector popped out when dropped, screen might still work when you push connector back in. In any case you need to open it up to diagnose, follow the guide in Brian's answer.

Yes, when you dropped the iPad the LCD itself sounds like it blacked out. This happens more often than you’d think.
