Is the Samsung s5 LCD compatible with the Samsung S6

I have a Samsung Galaxy s5 and a Samsung Galaxy s6. They both need new screens I just got a brand new LCD screen for the Samsung S5 But my Samsung s6 doesn’t have a screen on. If I separated the S5 outter glass from the main LCD and stick the main LCD to a Samsung S6 outter glass would it be compatible and will it work ?

Not compatible, their physically different in size.

You are right they are just about the same inches but they are 0.2cm² different in size as shown here:
