Yes, but you would need to replace the motherboard. The CPU is together with the motherboard so you can only upgrade from the same year usually from an i5 to an i7 usually.

While I agree with @benjamen50 on upgrading the CPU would require a swap out of the logic board.

Depending on your exact system you might have other cheaper options. As an example upgrading the RAM or even the HDD/SSD drive.

You've already maxed out the RAM to 8 GB. Your drive maybe on the small side if you have it more than 2/3rds full.
