Powers up, makes startup sound, becomes unresponsive

Ive never had any problems or hardware replaced with my MacBook Pro.

I recently had the MagSafe power adapter pulled from my MacBook while using it. It refused to boot properly after that. It starts, makes the boot up chime, then stops responding with a bluish/Grey screen.

I've tried booting in safe mode, from the install DVD, and resetting the RAM.

Safe mode never starts up

Using the DVD, it spits te DVD out after about 8 minutes, and my MacBook is still unresponsive.

This might be another strange sighting of the dreaded NVIDIA bug. Bring it to your Apple dealer, you might get a new logicboard on extended warranty (up til 4 years after purchase).

Would this Cause the entire macbook's unresponsiveness? I know someone who's MacBook had some faulty video output (no video out to the LCD display or through an external display) but he could essentially still use his MacBook ... Just not effectively. Is this similar? Or could this have ruined more than the video card/output or logic board?

I had at least a couple dozen machines with this fault in my workshop. Normally your right, it gongs but no video neither intern or extern. But sometimes the faulty chip can cause all sorts of weird problems. Something my Apple Service Provider acknowledged.
