MacBook freezes with long beeping (from the right)

Under normal use, the laptop freezes and makes a long beep, after a reboot it shows a question mark. After a couple of minutes, the laptop turns on normally.

Diagnosis does not reveal errors.

A problem occurred after enabling Filewault.

What could be the problem? Thx.

Is the right drive selected in Startup Disk in System Preferences?

Yes. Since the laptop is loading and running. Freezes happen randomly.

Sounds like a critical system failure, when it is on can you check the console logs for kernel panics?
