Where is my lid sensor? I've been having random sleeps

Looks like the lid sensor has an issue, I found this out trying all the possible solutions like SMC reset, NVRAM reset etc. This happens even in recovery mode nothing worked for me . Finally installed InsomniaX to disable sleep even when the lid is closed. now it seems to work, but this is temporary. I guess I need to replace the sensor if it has one.

Can anyone suggest me where I could find this sensor on a (MacBook Pro 15” Retina Display Mid 2014 ).

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

The sensor is soldered onto the board, Louis Rossman has a video on the random sleep issue usually caused by corrosion near the sensor. If you google Louis Rossman random sleep you should be able to find the video.
