psp go won't charge

so my Psp go isn’t working. the last time i used it was probably last year in October. I just found the charger and decided to charge it so i could play on it. I left it to charge for a good three hours, when i go see if it’s charge its not. i held the on button for a good 20 seconds and it still wont charge. Let’s see if you know any ideas to help me out

First, try a hard boot if you haven’t already (hold the power button for 10 seconds).

Otherwise, this will factory reset your PSP (but not delete any games saved on the memory card), but it might work for you: Try holding Square, Triangle, Start, Select, and and turn it on. Release the keys once you see the Sony logo.

If you still can’t get it booting, check the charger and maybe try another one if possible, and inspect the charging port for any damage or corrosion. If there’s no issues with the charger or port, my best guess would be a battery issue, which would require a replacement. Hope it helps!
