Not charging to some wires.

I plugged my phone in at night into a fake apple wire and i found in the morning my phone was dead. Then i plugged it in to charge my phone in the morning and nothing happened. I have a real apple charger (1) so i plugged that in and again nothing happened. I had one more real apple charger (2) that i used and it worked. So then i wanted to see if my other two wires work now so i plugged each of them in and the fake one didn’t work and the real one (1) worked. So then i tried the other real one (2) and that stopped working. So now i have one fake apple charger that doesn’t work, one real apple charger (1) that works, and one real apple charger (2) that doesn’t work. I confirmed that the apple charger (2) doesn’t work with a different phone. So is there anything i can do to my phone to make it stop doing this and is thee anything i can do to my real apple wire (2) to make it work?

The phone doesn’t “do” anything to the Lightning cable (wire). Yes, they communicate to each other but I have never heard of a case where the phone is damaging Lightning cables.

The reverse, however, is true. A poor quality charging brick or fake Lightning cable have been known to damage the Tristar IC on the logic board.

At this point, get rid of whatever Lightning cables and chargers you have confirmed don’t work.
