Question about cleaning corrosion

Hi,

My Pixel 3’s USB-C port has been almost unusable for the past few months. Earbuds do not work, and only one of my chargers will actually charge the phone (albeit slowly). I am 99% sure the problem is liquid damage, but could possibly be wrong. How do I fix it myself, and do I have to reglue the back panel?
