I was grinding some metal to start welding and i had my phone on the ground ,and a heavy metal fell on my phone, it now has a black spot on the bottom right and a bright light going all the way up ,how can i fix this and what is it?

Here’s the needed part Galaxy Note8 Screen the guide you’ll need to follow to replace it Samsung Galaxy Note8 Display Assembly with Frame Replacement. You might be able to replace the LCD alone following this guide Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Display Replacement iFixit doesn’t stock the part its more work but its a bit cheaper.
As we don’t have a firm idea whats damaged you will likely do better with the full part.
