The key does not open dors automatic and push button does not start

Please help me, my 2011 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo shows message” key damaged” and I have to remove the push button to start the car. So what could be the problem?

Even when using the spare key, is showing the same message KEY DAMGED

Go to your dealer and have a new key made. Take your title with the VIN number on it.
