iPhone Battery Replacement: Detected by PC but black screen

Recently Swapped out the battery on my Iphone 5s.

It was confirmed working when i tested it before re-assembling the phone. Whilst putting the LCD back in the frame, i found a problem with the top of the LCD not sticking to the frame, only to find the glue at the top is not sticky at all.

I removed the LCD again to try and resolve it and now the screen does not display anything. Holding Power and home button for 15 seconds, detects the phone on my PC but this is the only way i can get it to connect to the PC.

Any Help?

Answer this question I have this problem too

No vibrational feedback from mute switch.

Screen came off first before unplugging the battery. Seems silly now i’m thinking about it, but i was following a guide step by step at the time.

Have tried disconnecting the battery holding the power button then reconnecting but still nothing.

Have you tried toggling the mute switch on and off to see if the phone is alive? (this helps to see if it’s just the screen that is malfunctioning) Also before you removed the LCD ESD shield (top right metal plate with 4 screws), did you unplug the battery before anything else?
