Made a slight mistake with my battery, should I replace?

In changing my phone screen, I noticed that my mute switch screw was loose. In trying to tighten it up as carefully as I could, my screwdriver rubbed against the battery, exposing the metal shielding ever so slightly. Am I safe here, or should I swap out the battery?

Hope this clears things up. :/

The battery doesn’t appear swollen to me so I am still of two minds about it. Here’s a better image:

Cheers! It's not overly expanded but it is still.

Really it's a hit or miss as you say, but as a safety precaution I would still change it out.

To be on the safe side it would be recommended to change the battey it's hard to say with out seeing it.

It's most likely just scraped the top and is fine for now, but if you drop your phone again and its sparked it could trigger of a burn.

I posted a picture up above. It does look very slight, do you think I should change it?

Thanks for the pic! Seeing that battery and that nick in it I can also see that your battery has expanded and I would definitely change it.

Make sure you use the pull tabs to remove that battey so it doesn't explode.

Darn, I was hoping it wouldn't come to that! It doesn't look swollen where I can see, I've attached a better photo below :)

Thanks in advance
