How to close it after opened?

I bought an iFixit kit and I tested opening my MacBook Pro 13 (2018) an after several hours (not minutes) I couldn’t figure how to close it. I know its matter of been patient and keep trying but I have never been more frustrated in my life, I’ve been dealing with computers since 5yr and this is the first time I felt useless. I went into an apple store and they close it for me, but they didn’t teach me how to do it. So I hope some one came with a enlightening video.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Surprisingly it’s a bit tricky!

Looking at the cover we have a snap action marked in Blue and a slide in tab marked in Green, and lastly a drop in tab marked in Yellow.

Here we can see the mating areas

Here’s a tighter picture of the snap

So to put the bottom cover on you first need to slide the Green Tabs into there sockets along the back edge, then once the alignment of the lid is square you need to seat the Blue snaps by pressing on the cover just above them and lastly press in the mid point Yellow press in tabs.

Sometimes with laptops with high tolerances (like the ones made by Apple), the position of the lid must be very exact. Often, it will take precision to close the lid. Sometimes, you also just need to put a little more force on it.
