Why won't the electric plug securely seat itself and start the kettle

The 3-prong plug isn’t connecting to the kettle to enable the start-up.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi @rosierepairer ,

What is the make and model number of the kettle?

Have you checked the the pins in the kettle socket are straight and not loose?

Post some pictures of the kettle cord plug and the kettle socket.

Here's how to do this Adding images to an existing question.

Just asking. Has the cord /kettle combination worked OK before? Is it the correct cord for the kettle?
