No Sound From Internal Speakers. No Output Devices found

Basically one day my mac no longer had sound coming from the speakers.

It will however play sound from bluetooth and also usb speakers seem to work.

Headphone Jack also does not work.

Ive tried literally everything I can find on the internet and nothing is working. I’m beginning to think its an actual hardware issue. But im not sure what I need to replace.

I’m fairly comfortable taking my macbook apart, and at this point just need to know what part to get to fix it.

I’ve read its the :

I/O Board Power Audio Board

Can anyone confirm?

If headphone jack doesn’t work either, it’s quite likely you have a logic board issue. Unfortunatly there’s nothing you can replace on that Macbook model, the A1286 has no I/O board at all, everything part of the audio circuitry is firmly soldered to the logic board. A component level repair would be required to get things back working.

Yep, time for someone to fix your logic board or a new one. Likely the DAC logic has an issue.
