Keys not working on MacBook

I spilled some coffee on my MacBook and now I cannot use certain keys specifically the 0 key. I am very limited to what I can use my computer for now. My MacBook is from 2011 and I don’t really want to buy a new one, or pay to have it repaired.

Is there anything I can do on my own before I have to get a new one, or have it repaired professionally?

Answer this question I have this problem too

The cheapest option is to get an External Mac keyboard and use it.

You could replace the MacBook Unibody (A1342) Upper Case following this IFIXIT guide MacBook Unibody Model A1342 Upper Case Replacement while not easy it’s the only other option. You might want to find someone with the proper skills to do it for you.
