No service after drop and screen crack

I’ve had my iphone 7 for about 2 years now. Before it would work perfectly fine but after I dropped it about 4 months ago (it was a hard drop!) the screen shattered and I lost the cellular signal completely. I’m not concerned about the screen at the moment, my priority is to get the signal fixed. the phone lost signal immediately on impact as I got “no service” when i picked it back up.

So far to fix this issue I’ve done a factory reset, checked all antennas were plugged into the logic board propery, replaced the dock port which the cellular antenna is connected to (at least i think it is the cellular antenna) and updated ios and the carrier settings. Is there anything else I can take a look at or try?

After you have eliminated antennae or network locks as the possible culprit, searching issues on the iPhone are usually related to the baseband IC.

Go to your phone’s dialing keypad and dial *#06#. You should see the IMEI displayed.

If you can’t see the IMEI number, then you most likely have damage to the logic board, due to the hard drop your phone suffered. Whether or not this is repairable will depend on several factors. You’ll have to have this phone looked at by an experienced micro-solderer.
