LG 47LB580V Half Screen Blank - Lines Down Screen

Hi all,

This TV has been the pain of my life for the last week. So I purchased it recently (second hand) and it had a couple of small lines down the TV, so I first assumed possibly the connectors to the LCD screen might be lose / bad ground, so I took the back of the TV off and re-seated all the connectors, turned it back on and now half the screen is white with lines down, and the other half is black.

So I thought maybe its a broken t-con board, so matched up the model and part numbers (both t-con boards are exactly the same) - tried the new one, same issue.

So I then thought it must be the main control board - same again, new control board came and I just tried it, same issue again.

I’m not sure what else to try with this TV - it was working perfectly fine when I first picked it up (apart from a couple of faint lines down the TV) - Now as it stand it looks like (attached).

Anyone got any other ideas to try? I’ve also tried applying pressure with my fingers to the strip that goes into the LCD panel, nothing comes on/off when I do this either.
